Dr Jahangir Hossain, a Professor of Islamic History and Culture department of the Jagannath University (JnU), has been appointed as proctor of the university.
The university authorities today appointed Jahangir Hossain as proctor for the next two years. The university confirmed this in a notifications on Sunday.
According to the notice, Professor Jahangir Hossain will take over the charge of office on 19 February, 2024.
