A full committee has been formed for the Lakshmipur Students’ Welfare Association at Jagannath University (JnU). Fazle Rabbi Forhad, a student of the 14th batch from the Department of Public Administration, has been elected President, while Rifat Chowdhury Sajal, a student of the 15th batch from the Department of Statistics, has been elected General Secretary. The committee consists of 82 members in total.
On Sunday (October 15, 2024), the advisory board of the Lakshmipur Students’ Welfare Association at JnU approved the new committee.
The elected Vice Presidents are Ashraf Shahriar (14th batch), Mehedi Hasan Bhuiyan (14th), Tanvir Abrar (14th), Maliha Afrin (14th), Susmita Akter Rifa (14th), Abdullah Alam Noor (14th), Tanvir Hasan Hridoy (14th), Mosharraf Rahim (14th), Sabbir Hossain Mishu (14th), and Saiful Islam Hridoy (14th).

Regarding the newly formed committee, President Fazle Rabbi Forhad said, “Our association is dedicated to the welfare of students from Lakshmipur who come to Jagannath University for education. We aim to stand together in solidarity for the benefit of all.”
General Secretary Rifat Chowdhury Sojal added, “Our organization not only extends full support for the overall welfare of students but also engages in various contemporary social activities. We will maintain the bond of brotherhood among the students from Lakshmipur in times of need.”
