Our aim to bloom flower, not just to pluck it: Rumana Ali

Newly appointed state minister of Primary and Mass Education Rumana Ali said that  education is a comprehensive process. It should work in coordination with secondary education. The goal should be achieved through the implementation of all educational programs based on mutual cooperation. The aim should be to bloom the flower, not just to pluck it. 

She said this during a meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education at its conference romm today.

She said that primary education is the medium through which education is built. That is why the current government is continuously working towards the goal of universally accepted primary education, so the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education is working towards this goal. 

“To build a smart Bangladesh we will have to work unitedly,” she added.

Farid Ahmed, Secretary of the ministry, presided over the meeting while among others, the Director-General of the Directorate of Primary Education Shah Rejwan Hayat and the Director General of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education Dr. Abul Kalam Azad were present. 

At the beginning, the Additional Secretary of the ministry, Noorjahan Khatoon, presented a presentation on the activities of the ministry.

After taking the oath on January 11, the minister came to the ministry for the first time.
