The newly appointed Treasurer of Jagannath University (JnU) Professor Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury paid tribute to the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Today (December 6), the treasurer paid tribute to the moral of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi number 32.
Shortly after paying tribute, the Treasurer visited the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum and recorded his feelings in the visitation book.
Among others, deans of different faculties , directors of different institutions , provosts, different Departmental Chairmen, Teachers, Proctors, Jagannath University Teachers’ Association, Journalists and Employees of the university were present at the event.
It is noted that earlier on December 5, with the approval of His Excellency the President and Chancellor of Jagannath University, through an office order of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, according to Section 12(1) of the Jagannath University Act, 2005, Professor of Marketing Department of Jagannath University Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury was appointed as Treasurer for the next four years.
