Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Jagannath University unit hold a protest rally in support of the ongoing hartal declared by BNP and like minded political parties.
They, followers of JCD central joint secretary Kazi Zia Uddin Baset,hold the rally in the capital’s Murgitola area on Tuesday morning.
At the end of the rally, JnU JCD joint secretary Nahian Bin Haque Anik said, “BNP is a party of the people, and it is not possible to deter them from the movement through temptation, threats, intimidation, or oppression. The public has already witnessed a minister of this government clarifying the matter in a recent interview.”
“There is no rule of law in the country, and if the government wishes, anything is possible overnight. The nationalist Chhatra Dal aims to restore democracy in the country”, he added.
During the demonstration, leaders from various levels of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal JnU unit, including joint secretary Ahmed Kawsar Akash, Mia Russell, Rashedul Ahmed Rahat, assistant organizing secretary Solayman Khan Sagar, Omar Faruq, Nishan, student leader Maruf Miaji, Mehedee, Kamrul Hasan, were present.
