Leaders and activists of Jagannath University Unit of Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chatra Dal hold a protest rally in support of the ongoing 36-hour blockade enforced by BNP and like-minded parties at Murgitola area in the capital this morning.
Followers of the central joint secretary of the student body, Kazi Zia Uddin Baset, participated the rally in support of the 36-hour blockade .
At the end of the rally, Nahian Bin Haque Anik , Joint Secretary of JnU unit of Chattra Dal said that the illegal and the backbone-less Election Commission have already been rejected by the people of the country with disdain. Such manipulated elections have no place in the soil of this country.
” In pursuit of this goal, the student body will always play a role in resisting the oppressors on the streets”, he added.
Among others, JnU JCD leaders Ahmed Kawsar Akash, Rashedul Ahmed Rahat, Mia Russell, Solayman Khan Sagar, Omar Faruk, Nishan, Maruf Miazi, Mehedee, Kamrul Hasan, Saheed, and leaders from various levels of JnU JCD were present at the rally.
